Tasting Notes

Lambic and stout isn't a combination you encounter often. This collaboration brings together dark roasted grain, stone fruit, and a gentle tartness from the lambic base, which lifts the finish rather than fighting the stout character. At 6%, it's approachable and surprisingly drinkable for the style. The acidity keeps it moving, and the roast holds it together through a clean, dry close.

Timmermans traces its history to 1702, when a brewery was established at a farm in Itterbeek, Belgium. The business later took the Timmermans family name and became one of the oldest active lambic breweries in the region. It now belongs to the John Martin group. Timmermans makes traditional lambic, gueuze, and kriek, along with sweeter fruit beers using raspberry, peach, strawberry, and other flavours shaped by spontaneous fermentation.
