Tasting Notes
"Kriek" is a traditional Belgian cherry lambic. Open it up and chocolate is the first thing you notice, with caramel close behind and vanilla closing it out. Brewed with whole cherries and aged in oak barrels. At 6.7%, it's in the sweet spot, present enough to feel like something, easy enough to have more than one. One for adventurous drinkers who want to explore what wild fermentation can do.

Timmermans traces its history to 1702, when a brewery was established at a farm in Itterbeek, Belgium. The business later took the Timmermans family name and became one of the oldest active lambic breweries in the region. It now belongs to the John Martin group. Timmermans makes traditional lambic, gueuze, and kriek, along with sweeter fruit beers using raspberry, peach, strawberry, and other flavours shaped by spontaneous fermentation.
