Tasting Notes

Sang Royal 2016 is Cascade's cherry-dominant barrel-aged sour, aged in pinot noir barrels selected for their contribution to the final blend. Whole cherries age in those barrels alongside the base sour, and the pinot's tannin structure and berry character integrate deeply with the fruit. At 9.4%, it has real weight. Cherry, vanilla from oak, and refined lactic acidity make for a sour ale of genuine complexity.
